Job Title:  Head of Oil Trading, Shanghai

About our Client: Cavendish Bloom is working with a leading commodity trading operation that is looking for a new head of oil trading for its Chinese branch.

Position: Leading Physical Oil Trader

Location: Shanghai, China

Responsibilities:

- Be in charge of the Chinese oil trading business

- Develop business and trading opportunities for our client

- Focus on Asian oil market

- Have a good understanding of shipping and logistics.

- Support junior traders and support staff.

Requirements:

- At least five years physical trading experience in Asian markets;

- Strong background within physical fuel, crude or bunker markets.

-  Be based in Shanghai or open to relocation

-  Be able to establish a trading team.

-  Speak Mandarin or Cantonese
