The Software Engineer is responsible for application development within process-led software projects and IT consultancy through all areas of the company’s business.

The Software Engineer will also be encouraged to gain, manage and develop sales with their customers and client base.

The Company is a supplier of process-led software solutions in Application Development and IT Consultancy for all sizes of businesses, whilst also supporting Public Sector Departments.They offer services to businesses typically requiring project tracking applications, mathematical complexity, office automation, job tracking systems and data parsing and conversionwithin the Manufacturing, Engineering, Surveying and Defence sectors in the UK.

The Company is also involved with Intelligence Processing and Data Fusion software applications for the RAF and Ship Tracking applications supporting the Royal Navy. These systems run 24/7 and provide critical input to decision makers within UK Forces, and other Government Departments.

The Candidate

Most suited to this role will be someone with an IT background with an excellent capability to learn new technologies and business skills.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with good working knowledge of software engineering/programming, UNIX/Linux, OOA/D and GIS/Digital Mapping. The candidate will be self motivated and an enthusiastic team player showing potential to grow with the company.
