East Midlands- commutable from Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Burton On Trent, Sheffield:
As
a geography graduate this role should be highly exciting to you. This
is the chance to demonstrate skills you have learnt academically and
use these in a commercial environment. Incorporating business analysis,
spatial analysis and data analysis this role will give you the chance
to get GIS experience alongside other geographical software skills such as ArcView, MapInfo and ArcGIS
on your CV- this is invaluable. Working on various projects involved in
retail planning and demographics you will not get bored in this role,
instead you will be expanding your skill set and putting your skills to
good use. Plus, this role is permanent- This is unusual for the nature
of this role!!

You will need to be degree
educated in a geographical or mathematical related subject. You will
ideally have academic experience of using GIS
and/or other geographical related software such as ArcView or ArcMap.
You should have working knowledge of MS Office, exposure to Access, VBA
or Excel will be hugely advantageous. During your degree you should
have covered modules including demographics, planning,
geo-demographics, retail planning or similar. Candidates with a
relevant Masters degree will also be desirable.
