| Question: |
How do I search a GIS job? |
Answer: |
To find the job you are looking for on bestgisjobs.co.uk you will need to search for it. We offer several ways of searching for a job, depending on what motivates you in your search. Located on the left hand side of the webpage is our searchbox.
Category search
The most prominent method is our category search, this search allows you to select an industry or sector that you wish to search within. Simply scroll down our list and select the category you are looking for. Finally, click the 'Search' button and you will be shown the results for your search, or click on a industry from our industry box located on our homepage.
Search by Location
If you are motivated by where a job is rather than what industry it is in, you can use our location search. Simply choose the country you are looking for then select the region.
You can then specify the type of job you are after, be it permanent, temporary, etc. and finally you can add any keywords that describe the role you are looking for.
When you click on the 'search' button, our system will make sure it recognises your preference and will offer you choices either if it finds more than one location with that name or does not recognise it. Once this is done you are shown the results for your search.
Browse all jobs
If you wish to browse all the jobs simply select "all jobs" from the search box and click search.
